Welcome to Sayvour. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sayvour mobile application ("App") operated by Imaginelle Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Sayvour is a voice-first nutrition tracking application that helps you log and understand what you eat. The App provides the following features:

Meal logging by voice, by typing, or by photographing your plate — the App records what you ate
Nutrition label scanning, to add a packaged food to your saved foods
Saved foods, and matching of what you log against them
Automated nutrition estimation from your spoken meal descriptions
A personal food diary stored locally on your device
Daily and historical nutrition summaries
Optional meal reminders via local notifications

2. Not Medical or Dietary Advice

Sayvour is an informational tool only and does not constitute medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. The nutrition estimates provided by the App are approximations based on AI processing of your meal descriptions. They are not guaranteed to be accurate and should not be used as the basis for medical decisions, treatment of any health condition, or management of a medically supervised diet.

If you have a medical condition, food allergy, eating disorder, or specific dietary requirements, please consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making any changes to your diet.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older. The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use it.

4. User Accounts

The App does not require you to create a user account. All food diary data is stored locally on your device. No registration or login is needed to use the core features of the App.

5. In-App Purchases

Sayvour is a paid subscription, called Sayvour Pro. There are three stages, and each is described within the App:

Before you subscribe: You get a small number of meal logs at no cost, without starting a subscription or entering payment details, so you can see how the App works. When they are used up, the App asks you to subscribe.
Free trial: A subscription may begin with a free trial period. During the trial you have a trial allowance of meal logs and label scans. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription becomes paid at the end of the trial and the first charge is made.
Paid subscription: A monthly or annual subscription giving an allowance of meal logs and nutrition label scans per billing period.

Allowances. Each plan includes a set number of meal logs and label scans per billing period. The current numbers are shown in the App. Usage is counted on our servers, against the anonymous subscription identifier described in our Privacy Policy, so that the count is the same whichever device you use and is not reset by reinstalling the App. Once an allowance is used up, further logs or scans of that kind are declined until the next billing period begins. Allowances do not carry over between periods.

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. All transactions are subject to the respective store's terms and refund policies. We do not directly process any payment information. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change, though existing purchases will not be affected.

6. Meal Logging

Meal logging lets you describe a meal out loud, type it, or photograph it, and have it logged automatically. Label scanning reads a nutrition label from a photo. When you use these features:

Your voice, text or photo is sent to our AI processing service for transcription and nutrition estimation
It is processed in real-time by third-party AI services and is not retained after a response is returned
Every request that reaches the AI service counts against your plan's allowance, including one that finds no food in what you said or showed
The service is rate-limited to maintain quality and prevent abuse
Nutrition estimates are approximations. Accuracy varies by food type, portion description, and regional variations in recipes
We do not guarantee the accuracy of any nutrition data returned by these services

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended personal use. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App's backend services
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the App or its associated servers
Abuse the meal logging or label scanning services through excessive automated or scripted requests
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent plan allowances, for example by tampering with the App or its requests to our servers
Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any part of it

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and content, is the property of Imaginelle Labs and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
Nutrition estimates will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular dietary purpose
Voice transcription will accurately interpret all speech, accents, or food descriptions
Notifications will always be delivered on time, as delivery depends on device settings and operating system behaviour

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Imaginelle Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes based on App-provided nutrition estimates, or any other losses arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid for any paid features in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the meal logging and label scanning services if we detect abuse or a violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. We do not send individual notices of changes. Your continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Panaji, Goa, India.
